Lake & River ApplicationsOur self-draining system can be used in two different applications. System A uses a short piece of heating cable to protect the supply line where it passes through the ice. System B uses a pressurized air tank to purge water from the supply line below ice level. It does not require the use of a short piece of heating cable at the water source. System A, while slightly more expensive, is a hassle-free system. System B, while most energy efficient, does require more looking after during the winter.
